Favorite Verse: "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus," - Romans 8:1
Testimony: I surrendered my life to Christ my junior year as a student at Georgia Southern University. Although I had grown up going to church and exposed to the teaching of the scriptures, I missed the true meaning of what it meant to know God personally. Through a series of challenges, discouragements, and failures as a student and as a member of the football team, I began asking questions about the meaning of life and why I was here. I always knew in the privacy of my own heart that something about my life was just not complete. I soon began to realize that GOd was pursuing a relationship with me so I began seeking to learn more about him. About that time, God sent a messenger to help me understand who God is and what my response to him should be. I later came to see that my quest for life and significance would only be found in a relationship with Christ, so in winter of 1988 I gave my life to Christ, asking him to take control of my life and make me into a witness for him.

Testimony: I became a Christian when a Campus Outreach staff person at VSU befriended me. We hung out a lot and as I watched her life, I saw something was different about her. After many attempts on her part to share what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus, God drew my heart towards Him and I surrendered my life to Him.
