Fun fact about yourself: When I was in Middle School, I broke two bones on separate occasions within a span of two months. I was walking around school with and arm cast on my right arm and a boot on my left foot! As if Middle School wasn’t enough of an awkward phase!
Favorite Books: The Great Gatsby, Redeeming Love
Favorite Movies: Friday Night Lights, Shawshank Redemption, The Proposal, The Help, Life as We Know It
Favorite Verse: Galations 2:20-21
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, the Christ dies for no purpose.
Testimony: I grew up in a wonderful family going to church every Sunday. It was always a routine thing for me, so when I got to college, I stopped going. My first semester of college I got wrapped up in the partying scene, but I also met a girl who was on staff with Campus Outreach. She invited me to Christmas Conference which is where I first heard that God loved me the way I was searching for love and I wasn’t out of His grasp because His Son switched records with me! So I surrendered control of my life on that conference and have been trying to surrender every decision to the Lord since!
